How I Started to Code?

Hi everyone, I started to code ever since my brother introduced me to this simple yet powerful language called Ruby when I was in high school! Learning programming from scratch was really tough and to be honest I almost wanted to give up as everything seems dull because I did not fully understand how it works. For a while, I put off learning how to code. However, there was still a flame of curiosity that lingered in me because it really showed me how to create things I never know could exist and also I just love it when I'm able to solve a problem and make the code WORK.

I decided that it was time to take things seriously by pushing my own limits. I started to pick up the pace by studying how to code through Codecademy during my A-level days. However, progress was REALLY SLOW. Not wanting my passion to die down, I entered a full stack Web Development Bootcamp at NEXT Academy and soon realised my passion towards the tech industry. I realized that I actually like coding as it brings a great sense of satisfication that makes me want to venture further and deeper into it. Never once was I bored about learning something new; unlike the many things I explored throughout high school, coding to me was was something different--something I want to improve on and level up.

I became very determined to improve my coding skills and tried to learn new things from anyone and anywhere! Hence, I joined many tech events(Techladies, WWCode, RailsGirls, Google events, etc) and the journey thus far has been amazing as I was blessed with the opportunity to meet many like minded people to discuss about their ideas.

Last but not least, all of these is only the beginning for me; I still have a long way to go, to gain more experiences in the tech world. So hire me today!
